Lawrence Smith is an accomplished executive with a proven track record of scaling and leading complex organizations through transition and growth. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer for a family-owned construction company, where he was instrumental in implementing EOS and scaling the business 4x over six years through operational improvement, team development, and disciplined execution. His career includes serving as CEO of a $100M+ public manufacturing company, COO of a private equity-backed life sciences manufacturer, CFO of a global industrial equipment business, and advisor to dozens of CEOs of privately held companies—roles in which he developed deep expertise in strategic transformation, finance, and operations.

 

He holds a Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University, and is recognized as a highly strategic leader with a talent for aligning people, processes, and performance to unlock growth. His experience spans diverse business models across the construction, manufacturing, and life sciences sectors, making him a highly adaptable executive who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Lawrence is known for simplifying complex challenges, coaching high-performing teams, and delivering sustained long-term value.

 

Outside of his professional life, Lawrence is a husband, father of two, and the proud owner of a rescue dog. He is also a committed endurance athlete who regularly competes in Ironman triathlons—a pursuit that reflects his discipline, resilience, and commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of life.
